Webpage Heat Maps

The human eye “sees” different website pages in a certain way. Look at this example below from eyetools.net. You’ll see the red areas are where the site visitor most focuses when visiting a tyipical landing web page.

This is useful information for web designers because knowing where the visitors eye travels and focuses on a webpage can help the designer create more conversions of traffic by putting your most important data in these ‘hot’ areas.
