What is XHTML+CSS site design?

XHTML/CSS (some refer to as Web 2.0) is commonly known as the latest iteration of website design and development. XHTML 1.0 is a backwards compatible version of HTML 4.01 converted into XML.

Is it worth changing my HTML website to XHTML?

While some site owners don’t see the need to update web code - especially if they’re not looking for a new site design, it’s still important to know that having valid up-to-date code whether in HTML or XHTML is good for many reasons, such as:

  • Ease of Site Maintenance

    Less Tables & Code

    Faster Loading Pages

SEO/Optimization - Search Engines favor clean, organized code.
