Transferring Your Domains From Registerfly

Posted on Friday 16 March 2007

With Registerfly.com having shareholder issues, lawsuits, bank account freezes and ICANN threatening to take away it’s accreditation, many registerfly customers are trying to move out there domains via transfers. Some are getting out, but many customers can’t get to there accounts online, can’t update whois, can’t unlock, can’t unprotect, can’t get auth codes or auth codes are bad and to top it off, many customers can’t contact customer support after several hours on hold, support emails are not answered and support tickets are not responded too at all.

If you are one of these customers with similar issues, please see below some tips that may help….

1. Read the news and posts at www.registerflies.com (a site created by registerfly customers to speak out)
2. GoDaddy and eNom have been offering registerfly transfer help. Also mydomain.com is offering $5 transfers to registerfly customers using coupon code ‘registerflies’ and people have noted success using this service.
3. ICANN is recommending if you can’t get support from registerfly to email them and they will get in touch with registerfly for you, the ICANN email address is transfer-questions@icann.org
