As busy as Companies are, they tend to sign up for PPC, throw in the keywords, write some ads, link ads to website and then leave it to run. Although these are the typical steps, people are wasting money and loosing conversions by not studying the campaigns enough. One thing that’s commonly overlooked is the ad content - some people don’t even look at competitor ads - if you don’t how will you know if you stand out?

Take your PPC campaigns to the next level - study your keywords, study your competition, study and test your conversions. For ad writing, study your competition’s ads, see what they are writing and come up with something better. Think about how you can display an ad that stands out from the competition, one that includes your keywords in an interesting and catchy way. Make sure you have a call to action in your ad to encourage a click.
